SAC alloys (Sn-Ag-Cu) are among the first to appear, after the need to eliminate Pb from electronic solder alloys, and today they are one of the main candidates. SAC alloys perform better in terms of the mechanical properties of the soldered joint and when working at high temperatures, being widely used in joining critical components in the automotive and aerospace industries.
