For manual or robotic soldering it is necessary to incorporate a flux core into the wire. This core has an stripping function and is responsible for deoxidising the metals, reducing surface tension and improving heat transfer. The flux used is made under the J-STD-004B, being the most used a ROL0 type Fast-Flow flux. This favors an optimal wettability, splash reduction and greater productivity.
